:iconburningplz:Welcome to Disney Heroes! :iconburningplz:
:iconx-divider1::iconx-divider2::iconx-divider2::iconx-divider2::iconx-divider2::iconx-divider2::iconx-divider2::iconx-divider3:

Hi everyone! And a warm welcome to all of you to the new club Disney Heroes, dedicated to the heroes of Disney animated films. Please feel free to join, invite your friends, and submit artwork to the gallery.

:icondisney-heroes:

A few rules to get us started:

1. Deviations featuring the male main character of any Disney animated 2D movie are welcome. The hero is the male counterpart to the Disney "princess" character, meaning that yes, heroes are part of Disney couples. Sidekicks and female counterparts and other characters are welcome as long as the deviation is mainly featuring a Disney hero character.
2. No traced work, official Disney artwork or images taken off the internet without permission.
3. No mature content allowed. Keep it G-rated, just like the movies!

For now, The following characters will be considered heroes for this club and are acceptable for deviation submissions to the gallery:

Prince (Snow White)
Prince Charming (Cinderella)
Peter Pan
Prince Philip
Robin Hood
Eric
Beast/Prince
Aladdin
John Smith
Phoebus
Hercules
Shang
Tarzan
Milo Thatch
Prince Naveen

*Note: all characters are human with the exception of Robin Hood and Beast, who are basically human characters in animal form -- walking upright, wearing clothes, etc. If there are other characters you wish to add to the list, just let me know.

How it works

If you have a deviation that complies with the rules above, you can submit it to the "Featured" folder in our gallery. We're still a small club, so for now you can submit whatever you want and however much you want to the FEATURED folder. Let's fill up the galleries, folks!

Rules subject to change based on activity in the club, and as always, suggestions are welcome! If you have any questions, reply here or send in a note and I'll get back to you asap.

As always, please visit our awesome affiliates!

Just in case you aren't aware, and want to change it, Snow White's prince does actually have a name. He is Prince Ferdinand. (no joke). His name was released by Disney, since it was never featured in the film.

This is actually a somewhat common misconception based on Shirley Temple mentioning various Disney characters in quick succession, and she was referring to Ferdinand the Bull, from the Disney short of the same name, which was released around the same time as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The Prince in Snow White is nameless. (As, I might add, is the Beast.)

You are wrong on the Beast, at least, because I have a coloring book (yes, I am an adult who colors) that goes into the princesses lives after they are married, and he is called Adam in the coloring book.

I would very much love to see some evidence of this. Can you provide a scanned image of said coloring page? Disney Animation has never come out and said his name is Adam, in fact they have said rather the opposite.

Would that mean that Stitch or any other animal-like character would not be included? Wonderful selection you've got here
